Bhaktapur- (An Insight)
Bhaktapur, known as the place of devotees is an ancient Newar city that resides in the east corner of the Kathmandu Valley. The city is popular for its ancient Newar architectural style. The language spoken here is also different from other regions of Nepal. The Newar structured city still preserves the royal palace courtyards and was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its rich heritage, pagodas, and wood, metal and stone artworks. The specialty of the region is a special kind of yogurt called Juju Dhau.
